Tempered glass is created to be significantly stronger and safer than untreated glass. It’s heated to extreme temperatures, then an accelerated cooling process hardens the glass to the point where its physical and chemical properties change. This bonds and compacts the molecules together making it super durable, allowing for the glass to withstand intense abuse.
